Following Pele's death in December of 2022, 2023 was filled with numerous homages and tributes to the greatest of all time all over the globe. Out of everything that was done to praise The King, something special happened in the small Brazilian city of Londrina.
Pele's eldest son, Edinho, was the head coach of the local team who decided to make a special jersey for the celebrate Pele's greatness. They put Pele front and center on their jersey, with an image of his famous goal celebration punching up in the air.
The jersey was only used once on the field and only 500 units where made, none of which were sold to the public. Most of them where kept by the clubs players and staff or donated to local hospitals and charities.
